Practical training for students at the museum

From February 7th to 13th Prof Dr MONA HESS, chair for digital technologies in heritage conservation at the University of Bamberg held a practical training for master students .

The students had the possibility of training their skills in 3D scanning of objects and surveying the historical structure of the Museum’s venues.

The BAF regularly provides the possibity of practicing the documentation of historical material to students.

After processing the data the results will be presented at our website with a 3D model of the Lion Head and a virtual tour through our spaces. We thank Prof Dr Hess and her team for this interesting cooperation and we thank for the provision of the results.
